In Educore, our programmes are infused with the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) model where it comprises 5 domains namely self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making.

In each domain, students will pick up the relevant soft skills where they will learn to be aware and manage their emotions, take ownership of their learning, feel and show compassion towards their peers, learn to communicate effectively to build meaningful relationships and eventually be accountable for the decisions they make.

We are able to cater to the needs of the school to customise suitable activities that help students to attain competency in these 5 SEL domains.

WHY SEL?

Studies have shown that youths who have attained SEL competencies in the various above mentioned domains are more likely to graduate secondary school with readiness for the future. They exude resilience in their problem solving skills and are more adaptable to the ever changing world. In Educore, we believed that this is an important holistic development area that goes beyond just attaining academic grades.
