We are glad to announce our next intensive programme for O’levels Combined Science students, the Online Live Practical Exam Intensive Workshop! The practical component constitutes to 15% of the entire Combined Science paper. Many students often neglect this portion as they feel that this component is the toughest component to be prepared for. There are very few resources available and not all tutors (Not MOE Trained) are able to prepare students for this component.
Being in the MOE service for 8 years, we are truly aware of the challenges that both students and teachers face. Hence, fret not! We are here to support! Through our 4 weeks online practical simulation workshop, students will be able to:
Adopt the SOP for good practical practices
Identify the common sources of errors/difficulties/challenges they faced
Apply inquiry-based application of concepts into practical exams. (Eg.Thought-processes)
Write and record accurate results needed in the observations & conclusions.
Develop key skills required to score in the component. (Eg. Drawing of specimen)
